En el cantón Rocafuerte se reúnen cada quince días las socias del Grupo De Crédito La Unidas Somos Más. Este lugar se lo conoce por sus deliciosos dulces que preparan los lugareños y que son reconocidos en todo el país.
En este lugar vive la señora María, tiene 40 años de edad y mantiene una relación de unión libre de la cual tiene tres hijos de 23, 18 y 3 años, los dos menores aun viven con ellos. El marido es comerciante.
Doña María es una mujer que le gusta trabajar y con su esfuerzo darle a su familia lo mejor, ella trabaja en una casa de la ciudad realizando servicios domésticos, pero en sus ratos libres se dedica al comercio, vende ropa de todo tipo, carteras, bisuterías, entre otras cosas, deja a crédito a sus clientes y cobra cada quince días. Lleva más de tres años con este negocio el cual empezó con el primer crédito que recibió del grupo por lo cual está muy agradecida.
