Luis tiene 49 años de edad, es un hombre trabajador que desde temprana edad tuvo que dedicarse de lleno a la vida laboral, solo pudo cursar segundo grado debido a la guerra civil que se desató en el país, está casado y su esposa realiza los oficios del hogar, tiene 7 hijos pero solamente cuatro viven con él porque los demás emigraron e USA.

Luis se dedica a la agricultura, él cultiva maíz, frijol y sorgo, también trabaja con ganado ya que posee unas vacas que le proporcionan leche y derivados para el consumo familiar, siendo su padre quien le enseñó las actividades que ahora realiza.


El préstamo lo necesita para comprar una vaca, el resto lo utilizará para insumos agrícolas (fertilizantes, productos fitosanitarios, entre otros), con esta ayuda Luis tendrá la posibilidad de invertir para mejorar sus condiciones económicas.

Su sueño es poder establecer un hato ganadero donde participen todos los miembros de su familia y que sea rentable para el sustento de esta.

These loans are smaller than the typical loans offered by this field partner, and guarantee requirements are also reduced. Individuals who receive this type of loan also get access to technical assistance, information on good environmental practices and increased access to farm inputs like fertilizer. This is considered a high risk loan due to the population and loan purpose, and CrediCampo is one of the very few institutions in El Salvador willing to working with these farmers.
