María works breeding chicken, guinea pigs, sheep and cows, and sells milk. She also works in agriculture for her own consumption and for sale. These activities have allowed her to support her family and provide them with a better quality of life.

She will use the loan to buy a milky cow. Her goal is to finish the construction of their house.

El grupo de crédito Nueva Ilusión esta formado por 9 integrantes emprendedores, luchadores y muy trabajadores que ganan el pan de cada día con su esfuerzo. Viven en la parroquia de Cumbe en Cuenca, lugar de extensos pastos y fincas ganaderas, tiene modernas construcciones y el encanto de la arquitectura tradicional, su gente es amable y mantienen la cultura y tradiciones de sus padres, son personas amables y gentiles.
Una de las socias de este grupo es la Señora. María, es una socia desde hace 9 años, todo este tiempo ha llegado a tener muy buenas amistades ya que son como una familia unida, siempre se apoyan mutuamente.
La Señora. María tiene 35 años de edad, está casada y fruto de su unión conyugal ha concebido una hija de 15 años que estudia en un colegio de la ciudad, su esposo se dedica a laborar como chofer, presta sus servicios en fletes, la casa en la que viven es propia.
Doña María se dedica a las tareas del campo, cría pollos, cuyes, borregos y ganado del cual vende la leche, también se dedica a la agricultura que es para el consumo de su casa y para la venta, esta actividad le ha permitido sacar adelante a su familia y brindares una mejor calidad de vida. El dinero de su crédito va a invertir en la compra de una vaca lechera. Su meta es terminar la construcción de su casa.
