The credit union, "Niño de Praga," is made up of seven entrepreneurial, triumphant, and professional women who have known each other for many years. They have a great friendship and work in various jobs. They live in a beautiful sector within the city of Cuenca which is a 1999 World Heritage Site. The city is surrounded by four rivers which give it a special charm. It has many tourist locations and has a colder climate. They people still maintain the culture and traditions of their towns.

One of the group members is Alexandra. She has been part of this credit union, "Niño de Praga," for two years - time which she has established close friendships with all of her neighbors and friends. She likes this loan process because each meeting comes out of her daily work routine and the loans also help improve her small business.

Alexandra is 28 years old and a single mother of a 9-year-old girl who is studying at a small school in town. They live in a house owned by her parents and share living expenses with them. Alexandra is a nurse and is currently practicing. She has worked in a public institution for three years. In this job, she works rotating shifts. However, in order to improve her economic stability, she also sells products like clothing and cosmetics through a catalog. The money from this loan will be invested in the purchase of promotional clothing and cosmetics. Her dream is to have her own business and profits to build a home.

El grupo de crédito Niño de Praga está conformado por 7 mujeres emprendedoras, triunfadoras y profesionales quienes se conocen hace muchos años, tienen una gran amistad y laboran en diferentes actividades económicas. Viven por un hermoso sector de la ciudad de Cuenca, esta ciudad es desde 1999 Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad, esta bañada por 4 ríos los cuales le dan una magia especial, cuenta con muchos lugares turísticos, es de clima frió y su gente aun mantienen la cultura y tradiciones de sus pueblos.
Una de las socias de este grupo es la Señora Alexandra, forma parte del grupo de crédito Niño de Praga desde hace 2 años tiempo en el que ha establecido una más estrecha amistad con todas sus vecinas y amigas, le gusta esta forma de créditos porque en cada reunión sale de su rutina diaria de trabajo así como también los créditos son para mejorar su pequeño negocio.
La Señora. Alexandra tiene 28 años de edad, es madre soltera de una niña de 9 años que está estudiando en una escuelita de la ciudad, la casa en la que vive es de sus padres con quienes comparte los gastos del hogar.
Doña Alexandra es enfermera y se encuentra ejerciendo su profesión, trabaja en una institución pública desde hace 3 años, en este trabajo labora en turnos rotativos, pero para mejorar mas su estabilidad económica se dedica a la venta de productos por catalogo como ropa y cosméticos. El dinero de su crédito va a invertir en la compra de ropa y cosméticos de promoción. Su sueño es tener un negocio propio y rentable para construir su casa.
