Mrs. Koem Y. is a farmer who owns a plot of land to cultivate rice. Her field is infertile and is plagued with pests that adversely affect to her crops. Also, she does not have enough money to hire help to plow her field.

In order to deal with these problems, Mrs. Koem Y. decided to ask for a loan to buy fertilizer and pesticide and to hire a laborer with two oxen to plow her field. She hopes to increase her income and improve her living conditions with this loan.
