The group CLON is made up of 3 women members that live in the outskirts of the city of Masaya. They are all single mother that has been through the terrible experience of not being able to count on the support of the father of their children. They have started a business with a small capital they obtained from their first loan with Adim and they noted the benefits of investment into their business, always making sure to repay their loan on time.



Alba is the coordinator of the gruop. She says that their group is successful due to their good communication habits and the loyatly of the members. They are plan on continuing their work and expanding their selection of products each time. She has benefitted from 3 past loans and she feels prouble that she has remained on good terms with Adim, the organization that has been financing her efforts for many years.



The group has received support financially and in the administration of their business. Their greatest experience has been learning how to save money, and therefore remain on good terms and then be eligible for future loans.



One of their greatest dreams is to make improvements and expansions to their houses. To this end they are saving their earnings made possible through the loan to be able to invest into their homes at year's end.

El g/s CLON esta conformado por 3 integrante mujeres que viven en la zona semi urbana de la ciudad de Masaya todas son madres solteras han pasado por la mala experiencia de no poder contar con el apoyo del papa de sus hijos. Ellas han iniciado su negocio con capital pequeño solicitaron su primer crédito con adim y se dieron cuneta de los beneficios que se obtienen cuando invierten bien en su negocio y pagan a tiempo su crédito.
Doña Alba es la coordinadora del grupo. Ella nos manifiesta que su g/s tiene éxito por la buena comunicación y solidaridad de sus integrantes piensan seguir trabajando y ampliando cada vez más productos. Son beneficiadas de Es beneficiaria de un tercer ciclo de crédito y se siente orgullosa de no haber quedado mal con ADIM que le ha venido financiando desde hace varios años.
El g/s ha recibido capacitaciones en economía y administración del negocio. Su mayor aprendizaje ha sido que para progresar es necesario ahorrar, pues así se queda bien, se pude tener un nuevo crédito y progresar.
Uno de sus mayores deseos de los miembros del g/s es poder ampliar y mejorar su casa, para tal propósito ellas de las ganancias del préstamo está ahorrando para que a final de año poder invertir en su casa

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
