Lidia is a member of the Los Claveles (“The Carnations”) Village Bank. She is married and has four children; two are in school and two work. Lidia has a hardware store where she sells construction materials like cement, iron rods, bricks, and tubes. She works every day and her children also help out.
Lidia needs a loan of 3000 soles (US$975) which she will use to buy cement. Her dreams are for her children to finish school, to open up another hardware store for her children to run, and for her business to prosper.
