Simon lives in Hoima, Uganda. He is aged 48 and is married with three children all attending school. He owns a retail shop, but raises extra income through poultry and coffee farming. He started this business to generate income for his family. Bad weather and poultry diseases like chicken pox are a hindrance to his business. Simon will use the loan to buy chicks for his poultry farm.

This loan is part of HOFOKAM's program targeting poor and geographically excluded populations in Western Uganda.
