She is grateful to Hekima for its support of female entrepreneurs who are unable to access banks, by giving them loans during this post-conflict period in the east of the country.

Elle est vendeuse de braises dans les artères de la ville. Elle étale ses activités dans un dépôt tout au long de la route. Son conjoint, lui aussi est commerçant. Elle sollicite un prêt auprès de Hekima pour accroitre son activité. Elle va acheter 15 sacs de braises. Elle démarra ses affaires avec le fonds reçu de son mari. Dans l’avenir, elle souhaite accroitre son capital, acheter une parcelle, scolariser et nourrir ses enfants. Elle remercie Hekima pour son soutien aux femmes entrepreneurs non bancables, en leur accordant de crédit pendant, ce moment post conflits dans la région de l’Est du pays.

HEKIMA is a microfinance institution headquartered in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), with branch offices in Goma and Bukavu. HEKIMA aims to contribute to the transformation of the economic, social, and spiritual lives of the economically active poor of the DRC. To this end, HEKIMA provides its clients with solidarity group loans to support income-generating activities. Despite ongoing instability and violence in its operating areas, HEKIMA continues to keep its doors open and provide credit and savings services for its over 90% female clientele.
