Noeline lives in Kampala, Uganda. She is married with four children, three of whom go to school. She has no additional family members. She has a business selling plastic jerrycans, and has been in this business for five years.
Noeline has applied for a loan of 900,000 Uganda shillings from MCDT SACCO to buy more plastic jerrycans. She generates additional income from selling sisal sacks/bags. She works seven days a week and sells on a retail basis. Her major business challenges include seasonality and thieves.
She aspires to become a wholesaler, and also to buy a plot of land and build a house. She resides in a rented house, and the family has no access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees and rent.
