The "Properidad" ["Prosperity"] credit group is made up of 11 female members and one male, who carry out various activities that enable them to improve their economic situations. They are kind, courteous people who still maintain the traditions of their people. They live in different areas of the city of Cuenca, which is bathed by four rivers and is a "Cultural Heritage of Man" site since December of 1999. There are varied and beautiful places to visit, and the gastronomy of this city is very diverse, captivating the palates of locals and foreigners alike.

One of the members of this group is Señora Catalina. She is 23 years old, lives in a common-law marriage, and has one two-year-old daughter. Her husband works in the construction field. They own the house they live in.

Catalina earns her living selling fruit, an activity she has carried out since she was practically a child, since her mother brought her into this work. She works from Sunday to Sunday without a fixed schedule. She is also studying in a university of the city; she is in the third year of the economics program. The money from her loan is to pay for her education and to buy fruits for her business. Her goal is to finish her education and be a professional.

El grupo de crédito Prosperidad está conformado por 11 socias y 1 socio, quienes se dedican al comercio y a la realización de varias actividades las que les permite mejorar su situación económica, son personas amables, gentiles y aun mantienen las costumbres de sus pueblos. Viven en diferentes lugares de la ciudad de Cuenca que esta bañada por 4 ríos, es desde Diciembre de 1999 Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad, tiene varios y hermosos lugares para visitar, la gastronomía de esta ciudad es muy variada y cautiva el paladar de propios y extraños.
Una de las socias de este grupo es la Señora. Catalina, tiene 23 años de edad, vive en unión libre y ha concebido una niña de 2 años, su esposo labora en la rama de la albañilería, la casa en la que vive es propia.
Doña Catalina se dedica a la venta de frutas actividad que la desempeña desde que era casi una niña ya que su madre le inculco este trabajo, trabaja de domingo a domingo sin un horario fijo, también está estudiando en una universidad de la ciudad está en su tercer año de economía. El dinero de su crédito es para pagar sus estudios y comprar frutas para su negocio. Su meta es de terminan sus estudios y ser profesional.
