The businesses that the community association members run are varied, including: fabric blankets, food sales, shuttle driving, woven blankets, and the sale of spices.

The loan that they are applying for will benefit micro-entrepreneurs where Pascuala is involved. She joined the Pro Mujer group five years ago, at the invitation of an employee of the institution who came to visit her at her home. Today she has a blanket weaving business. She started weaving several years ago, learning the art from her aunt, who she helped with her business. With the passage of time, Pascuala decided to start her own business.

The loan is to increase her capital to buy a weaving machine. She will get it from sellers in the city of El Alto and use it to commercialize her production and increase her client base. This work allows her to generate resources to support her family, as she is married and has three children. When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she says that she likes the training and health education that the institution offers.

La A.C. “MARAVILLOSAS” iniciará el octavo ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Collpani, está compuesta por nueve integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Pascuala es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: tejido de mantas, venta de comida, servicio de transporte, tejido de mantas, venta de condimentos.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Pascuala es integrante, ella indica que hace cinco años que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por la invitación de un asesor de la institución que fue a visitarle a su casa. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de tejido de mantas; da a conocer que este negocio lo implemento hace varios años atrás, aprendiendo la técnica de su tía, ya que le ayudaba en su negocio, con el pasar del tiempo decide implementar su propio negocio.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de máquina de tejer) que adquirirá de las vendedoras de la ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará a pedido de la clienta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para apoyar a su familia, ya que ella es casada y tiene tres hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta las capacitaciones y el área de salud que le ofrece la institución.
