The Las Dinámicas Solidarity Group is made up of four hardworking members and it is coordinated by Eveling, who is 26 years old and married. She has sold AVON Cosmetics and clothing for six years. She started this business with the severance she received from the business where she worked. She is requesting this loan to buy body creams, lipsticks, Kalúa brand pants, jeans, tops, underwear, etc. The other group members are Francis, who is 31 years old and sells new clothing on foot in her community; Ruth, who is 30 years old and butchers pork in her home; and Milagros, who is 20 and has been buying and selling produce at the municipal market for two years.

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
