En el sector conocido como Estancia Vieja en la parroquia Colon de la ciudad de Portoviejo se reúnen cada quince días las socias del Banco Comunal Estancia Vieja. Lugar de gente humilde y dedicada a la agricultura y al comercio en general.
En este lugar vive la señora Fátima, tiene 27 años de edad y mantiene una relación de unión libre de la cual tiene dos hijos de 5 y 2 años, el mayor estudia en escuela. El marido es maestro electricista.
Doña Fátima con la intención de ganar algo por su cuenta y con esto ayudarle a su esposo con los gastos del hogar se dedica a la venta de zapatos por catalogo, su forma de ventas es puerta a puerta y también vende en su casa hasta donde llegan sus clientes, ella vende a crédito y cobra cada quince días. Este negocio lo empezó con uno de los créditos que recibió del grupo por lo cual está muy agradecida ya que esto le esta ayudado a salir adelante junto a su familia.
Este crédito es para comprar zapatos. Ella lleva tres ciclos en el Grupo De Crédito y le gusta porque así empezó su negocio. Sus sueños son darles lo mejor a sus hijos.
