José de 63 años de edad, es agricultor, estudio hasta segundo grado, ya que sus padres no le tomaban la importancia debida a la educación y por esa razón dejó de estudiar, ahora está casado y junto a su pareja tienen 6 hijos, ella se dedica a los oficios domésticos y también le ayuda con la agricultura.

José se dedica y conoce de la agricultura desde hace 45 años, sus padres le enseñaron este trabajo para que se defendiera y le hiciera frente a la vida, la agricultura es su fuente de ingreso, su esposa junto a sus hijos son quienes le ayudan mucho en este trabajo para salir adelante.

El crédito lo utilizará para comprar fertilizantes para su cosecha entre ellos están, veneno, y abono para obtener mejores resultados y ganancias para sustentar algunas necesidades básicas en su hogar.

El sueño para el futuro que tiene José es mejorar la vivienda en la que habitan, para tener una vida mejor, ya que su vivienda necesita algunas reparaciones en el techo y esto hace que se mojen en tiempos de lluvia.

This loan is part of a CrediCampo project to help rural farmers living in extreme poverty plant basic grains to feed their families. Excess product is sold on the local market. These loans are smaller than the typical loans offered by this field partner, and guarantee requirements are also reduced. Individuals who receive this type of loan also get access to technical assistance, information on good environmental practices and increased access to farm inputs like fertilizer. This is considered a high risk loan due to the population and loan purpose, and CrediCampo is one of the very few institutions in El Salvador willing to working with these farmers.
