A loan of $225 helped to pay for fabric, cloth, thread, and other materials needed in her business.

Nimfa's story

Nimfa previously acquired 12,000 PHP which she used to buy materials needed in her tailoring business. It has helped her to produce more items which provided a bigger income. Her earnings helped to educate her children and pay for personal, house hold, and business expenditures.

She would like to apply for another 9,000 PHP loan to buy fabric, needles, thread, cloth and other materials. Her profits will definitely help her sustain her family's daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Nimfa dreams to have more customers and hopes to have a better future. She meets weekly with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work and draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God as that she studies.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay micro-finance loans.
