Getrude is 41 years old and lives in the town of Nyendo in the Masaka region of Uganda. She is married and has six children, who are all currently in school. For the past 10 years, Getrude has been working hard to manage her agro-business, which sells fertilizers, sprays, and weed moister.
To help expand her business, Getrude has requested a loan of 3,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more fertilizers, and will help Getrude to generate greater profits, and increased profits will have family benefits.
Getrude hopes that in the future, she will be able to purchase more stock.
