This solidarity group is made up of three members and is organised by Maria. She is a strong woman and has worked in her business for 8 years which makes tortillas and sells nacatamales [maize, meat and rice wrapped in banana leaf] in her community. Her husband helps the business financially.

She is asking for this loan to buy corn, potatoes, pork, mint, achiote [annatto spices], onions, firewood etc. to increase sales and achieve her goal to get ahead in expanding her business. With previous loans, the business has gained financial stability, supporting her business and family.

Another member, Lidia, is 39 years old and is a street vendor in her community. Maria is 42 years old and sells cosmetics.

El grupo solidario está integrado por tres socias y coordinado por doña María, es una mujer fuerte y trabaja en su negocio desde hace 8 años, la socia palmea tortillas y vende nacatamales en su comunidad, su esposo le ayuda económicamente en el negocio. El crédito los solicita para la compra de maíz, papas, cerdo, hierba buena, lena, achote, cebolla, etc., para aumentar sus ventas y cumplir una de sus metas que es seguir adelante ampliar su negocio. Con los créditos anteriores la socia ha logrado una estabilidad económica y mantener su negocio y familia. Otra de las socias es la señora Lidia de 39 años que se dedica al comercio ambulante en su comunidad. Doña María de 42 años se dedica a la venta de cosméticos
