Nathan
Nathan is 39 years old and lives in the town of Kyengere in the Kampala East region of Uganda. He is married and has 3 children with 2 of them currently in school. For the past 10 years, Nathan has been working hard to manage his poultry business, rearing chicken.

To help expand his business, Nathan has requested a loan of 4,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy food for the chicken, and will help Nathan to generate greater profits and expand on the poultry farm. Nathan hopes that in the future he will be able to start up another business.

Nathan is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Nathan who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
