Sr. Pedro lives with his two young children. His partner abandoned them three years ago. Since then, he has lived as a single father who must care for his little ones. Pedro is a very responsible person who loves his children dearly. He works on his own land where he cultivates cassava, oranges, and other seasonal crops. His land is located in an area that is suitable for production.
Due to his extensive experience in handling farm crops, Pedro knows the risks that are involved and how to manage them well so that he can obtain excellent quality products that generate a good income. He is now requesting a loan so that he can buy supplies and materials for cultivating young palm trees (for harvesting hearts of palm) that are suitable for this area. This will increase his income considerably so that he can improve his quality of life and that of his young children.
