Felicia, 50, lives with her husband. They have 5 children who help her to sow and cultivate her fields when help is needed. She cultivates peas in association with the field owner. This time she has sown 24 kilos of seed, which will allow her to harvest 50 sacks. Peas are sown 2 to 3 times, this is the only thing she knows. When harvest season arrives, it is divided 50/50 with the owners of the fields, meaning she gets half of what she sowed.

This enables her and her husband to educate their children. She tells us that it would be much better if they had their own lands, so they would not have to share the produce. This is her first loan with MFP. With this money she will buy farm manure to fertilize the peas, Felicia has sown potatoes in a field she has used before, so she will not need additional fertilizer.
