Mirella is a young entrepreneur. She is 34 years old, a single mother, and lives in Ica with her family.
She has 2 marvelous children who are her greatest pride and for whom she has always fought to offer a better future.
For the past 8 years, she has worked selling foods such as causa (a traditional Peruvian potato-based dish), cakes and papa a la huancaína (a traditional Peruvian potato salad with a creamy, spicy sauce). It is going very well for her because she is very responsible, hard-working, and friendly and because she always offers her quality products at an accessible price.
Mirella is very grateful to the Kiva lenders because with the support that they have offered her, she will be able to purchase an oven and, in this way, be able to improve the quality of her products and increase her sales. With this, she will have increased income that can be used to improve her business and to be able to realize her big dream - to be a prosperous businesswoman.

Tiene dos maravillosos hijos quiene son su mayor orgullo y por quienes siempre ha luchado para poder brindarles un futuro mejor.
Desde hace 8 años se dedica a la venta de comidas como "Causa", Kekes y Papa a la Huancaina, le va muy bien porque es muy responsable, trabajadora, amable y porque siempre ofrece productos de calidad a un precio accesible.
Mirella está muy agradecida con los prestamistas Kiva porque con el apoyo que le han brindado ella podrá comprar un horno y así poder mejorar la calidad de sus productos y mejorar sus ventas, con esto obtendrá mayores ingresos que podrá utilizarlo para mejorar el negocio y poder cumplir su gran sueño: "Ser una próspera empresaria".

Caja Rural Señor de Luren is a microfinance institution based in Ica in southern Peru that primarily promotes the development of the country’s agricultural sector through lending. Today, it also offers credit for consumers, microenterprises and housing improvements, and has expanded its financial services to promote micro-savings and provide micro-insurance. This institution has been instrumental in helping borrowers recover from the devastating earthquake in the Ica region in 2007, and works with Peru’s National Bank to reach some of the poorest and most remote microfinance clients in the country.
