Malai is 46 years old, married, has four children, and lives in Odong, Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. She has been selling vegetables since 2005 and her husband has been providing transportation services to clients since 2010. Both of them can earn approximately (USD) $14 per day. Now, she would like to apply for a loan of (USD) $1,500 to build a motorcycle repair shop for providing services to clients. This loan will help her husband make more income for the family. In the future, she hopes that she can renovate her house and her children can get their high school diplomas.
