The “ROSITAS DE CHEJECUCHO” communal bank is beginning its second loan cycle in Pro Mujer, as part of the Centro Focal de Achacachi. It is made up of 10 members and is directed by a board of directors where señora Olinda is President. The communal bank's members have various businesses, among which are: onion sales, potato and freeze-dried potato sales, agriculture, fruit sales, and blanket-weaving.

The loan which they will receive will benefit small micro businesses where señora Olinda is a member. She says that she became part of Pro Mujer one year ago, after the invitation of one of the organisation's promoters, who went to visit her at her home. She currently has a business producing and selling onion - she explains that this was a family business and that when she got married they decided to continue with it.

The loan which she will receive now is for food in times of drought (buying seeds), which she will acquire from the sellers at the El Alto city fairs and grow in her allotment. This way of working allows her to generate income to support her family, as she is married and has a son.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she responds that she likes the training that the organisation offers.

There is one member missing from the picture. She went home to look after her livestock.

La A.C. “ROSITAS DE CHEJECUCHO” iniciará el segundo ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Achacachi, está compuesta por diez integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Olinda es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: venta de cebolla, venta de papa y chuño, agricultura, venta de fruta, tejido de mantas.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Olinda es integrante, ella indica que hace un año que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por la invitación de una promotora de la institución que fue a visitarle a su domicilio. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de producción y venta de cebolla; da a conocer que este negocio fue un negocio familiar y que cuando se casó deciden seguir realizando el mismo negocio.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para alimento en tiempo de sequía (compra semilla) que adquirirá de las vendedoras de las ferias de la ciudad de El Alto y lo cultivará en su chacra. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para apoyar a su familia, ya que ella es casada y tiene un hijo.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta la capacitación que ofrece la institución.
