Grace, aged 53, is a single mother of three adult children who are aged between 18 and 22. She has been operating a tailoring business and selling new clothes as well as knitting for the past 17 years, and earns a monthly income of KES 20,000.
Grace has applied for her third loan of KES 27,000 with VisionFund Kenya, to buy fabric materials, new clothes and knitting threads for her business. She plans to use the anticipated income to expand her business and provide for her family's basic needs.
