Sameth is 42 years old. She is a married woman with three children in Odong, Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. She and her husband are farmers. Two of her children are garment factory laborers and one is a blacksmith. All of them can earn approximately $19 per day. Sameth would like to apply for a loan of $500 to purchase the equipment of a blacksmith. This loan will help her son make more income for the family. In the future, she hopes that she can build a bathroom and a toilet.
