He supports his life with three businesses. Mussa has two fishing boats which he has handed over to his two helpers who fish at night and take the stock to him everyday. He wakes up in the morning after his two boats arrive and sells the stock to small business clients at the market. He also leave aside a few buckets for his fried fish business.
Despite having no education, he is still able to manage his projects well. He has been in this fishing business for 15 years.
After managing his fish business well, Mussa came up with a new business, a shop selling CDs, fridges, freezers, and TVs.
Mussa is requesting a ninth loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loans to open his shop selling CDs, TVs, decks, freezers, and fridges. He earned a profit which he used to plow back to his plan and built four houses, two for living and the others for renting. He has successfully paid back all of his previous loans.
He is really working hard and it shows. He dreams of having a farm and starting a poultry business. Mussa will use this loan to buy used boat equipment.
He will share this loan with his loan group "Vigae" which totals two members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
Mussa is so proud to have Kiva's support and thanks everyone who has supported people around the world.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
Loan tags help lenders find loans that match certain areas of interest. You can add up to 5 tags for this loan.
