The communal bank “FLOR DE LOS ANDES UNO” will start its fifth cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Centro Focal de los Andes. It has eight members and is run by a board of directors of which Damiana is the Secretary.

The members have a variety of businesses which include: selling books, whistles, vegetables, cell phones, meals, traditional skirts, hats, and plants; as well as construction services, and a neighborhood store. The loan they take out will benefit micro entrepreneurs where Damiana is a member. She states that she joined Pro Mujer four years ago at the invitation of her husband who is a client of the institution.

Currently, Damiana has a business selling toys which she started eight years ago when she noticed that this business has the advantage of being busy at any time of year. The loan will be used to increase capital to buy toys at wholesale. She will buy them from wholesalers in the city of El Alto and then resell them to customers who order them. This way of working allows her to generate income to support her family, as she is married and has two children.

La A.C. “FLOR DE LOS ANDES UNO” iniciará el quinto ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Los Andes, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Damiana es la Secretaria. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: librería, venta de pito, venta de verduras, servicio de construcción, venta de celulares, venta de comida, venta de polleras, tienda de barrio, venta de gorras, venta de matas.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Damiana es integrante, ella indica que hace cuatro años que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por la invitación de su esposo que es cliente de la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de juguetes; da a conocer que este negocio lo implemento hace ocho años, al observar que este negocio tenía la ventaja de que era comercial en cualquier época del años.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de juguetes por mayor) que adquirirá de las vendedoras mayoristas de la ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente lo comercializará a pedido de la clienta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para apoyar a su familia, ya que ella es casada y tiene dos hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta la capacitación que ofrece la institución.
