Youth Business St. Vincent and the Grenadines, a non-profit organization established in 1994, is committed to addressing the level of poverty, unemployment, and underemployment among youth in the country.
Through a program of entrepreneurship, which provides support to youth between the ages of 18 and 35, YBSVG aims to assist those who have viable business ideas but lack the means to convert them into profitable ventures. Kiva’s partnership will enable the organization to expand their credit program to assist youth who live in abject poverty, have criminal records, those living with a disability, and many who were unable to complete schooling.
