Kuña Tekove se llama este grupo, es un comité que gracias al trabajo y esfuerzo de todas ya están en su ciclo número 15. Todas ellas están luchando y esforzándose por poder salir adelante, y también están haciendo la encuesta de eliminación de la pobreza, luchando y trabajando por mejorar.
Una de las integrantes es la Sra. Olga, quien en su última encuesta mostró un nivel de pobreza dentro del nivel tres, es decir, que está mejorando gracias a su trabajo y ganas de superación. Ella es una persona muy trabajadora y luchadora. Se dedica a las ventas, ya que tiene una despensa bien surtida, que con mucho y sacrificio y esfuerzo ha ido creciendo.
La Sra. Olga Solicita de este préstamo para la compra de insumos para su negocio, como ser bebidas, lácteos, frutas, verduras y demás, lo que le ayudará a tener una mejor variedad para sus clientes.

More information about this loan

This loan is part of the innovative “Poverty Stoplight” program developed by Fundación Paraguaya for women living in poverty. A “stoplight” measurement tool is used to help borrowers self-identify the type of poverty that affects them most (lack of income, dearth of financial opportunities, poor living conditions etc.). Borrowers rate 50 areas of their life as green (not poor), yellow (poor) or red (extremely poor). Together with their loan officer, they come up with a plan to resolve yellow and red indicators. Through this program, Fundación Paraguaya hopes to lift 9,000 women and their families out of poverty by 2017.
