Nemi is 32 years old, married and lives with her family in her own house. They live in the Province of Misamis Occidental in the Philippines. The people in this community work in agriculture, commerce and raise livestock.
Nemi and her husband have been offering transportation services for more than 5 years. She is an enterprising mother. She has requested a loan from GDMPC micro credit to buy spare parts like oil and lubricants for her vehicle and in this way make more money for her family.
In the future, Nemi hopes to improve the general living conditions of her family.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
