Nehemiah is a thirty-four-year-old, married man, who has six children. He lives in Bundibugyo, Uganda. He deals in a motorcycle transport business and in cocoa selling, as another source of income. He has been in the cocoa-selling business for fifteen years. He dreams of buying a new motorcycle for income generation, though he is challenged by high competition and the bad roads in the area where he operates. Nehemiah intends to use the loan to buy new tyres for his motorcycle.

This loan is part of HOFOKAM's program targeting poor and geographically excluded populations in Western Uganda. In addition to loans, it provides social and business training programs to low-income entrepreneurs and their communities.
