Afusa is a forty-year-old divorced female with four children living in Bundibugyo, Uganda. She has a food stall where she cooks food for selling. She has been in the business for three years and wishes to have a big restaurant supplying big companies in town and doing outside catering services.
However, she faces the challenges of thieves and seasonality changes. She is a very hardworking woman who cares for the well-being of her four children. Afusa is requesting a loan to buy land for farming.

This loan is part of HOFOKAM's program targeting poor and geographically excluded populations in Western Uganda.
