Salma is a married woman with five school-going children. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.
For the past four years, she has operated a business of selling lesos ( women's wrap cloths). She faces a major challenge of seasonality in her place of operation. She dreams of expanding to become a big supplier of clothes in the future.
With the loan, she wants to purchase more pieces of leso ( women wrap cloth) for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
