Dennys is a young 21 year old Ecuadorian. He is single and lives in his grandmother's house together with his mother and brother. His father abandoned them a long time ago. A relative referred him to Fundacion Alternativa to request a loan. He used the loan to invest in more products since his sales increased and he has pending sales to fill. Now he is requesting a second loan to purchase more products.

He is single and currently studying at ESPE Latacunga. He is in his second semester of Petrochemical Engineering. He is a very good student and very enterprising since he helps his mother with the family expenses. His small business has been growing. He works selling natural products. In spite of having work that demands a lot of time and effort, Dennys is very responsible with his studies and helping at home.

The area where he lives is very commercial and it is an urban area located in the center of the city. He wants to thank Fundacion Alternativa in Ecuador and Kiva for making the growth in his business and personal life possible.

Dennys es un joven ecuatoriano de 21 años de edad, es soltero vive en casa de su abuela junto con su madre y hermano su padre los abandonó desde hace mucho tiempo, por referencia de un familiar y cliente de Fundacion Alternativa solicitó un crédito, el mismo que lo utilizó para invertir en mas producto ya que las ventas aumentaron y tiene pedidos pendientes por entregar. Hoy está en su segundo crédito el que será utilizado en la compra de mas productos.
Es soltero actualmente está estudiando en la ESPE Latacunga se encuentra cursando el segundo semestre de Ingeniería Petroquímica, es muy buen estudiante y muy emprendedor con su trabajo ayuda a su madre en los gastos de la familia. Su pequeño negocio ha ido creciendo cada vez más, se dedica a la venta de productos naturales, A pesar de tener un trabajo que le demanda mucho tiempo y esfuerzo, Dennys es muy responsable en sus estudios y colaborador en su hogar.
La zona donde vive es muy comercial y es una zona urbana está ubicada en pleno centro de la ciudad.

Concurrent and Successive Loans

Our Field Partners often work with borrowers over a series of loans as the borrowers build credit, take out bigger loans, and expand their businesses. In order to make it easier for our Field Partners to post loans for borrowers who have been listed on Kiva before, we allow them to post successive and concurrent loans for their Kiva borrowers. This means that our Field Partners are able to post a borrower's second, third, etc., loan on Kiva without having to re-enter all of the borrower's information.

This borrower has been listed on Kiva before, so you'll see an updated loan description, as well as excerpts of the original descriptions from earlier loans. Most borrowers take out loans consecutively, meaning that they receive a second loan after having repaid the first. However, sometimes our Field Partners give out concurrent loans, allowing borrowers to take out one primary loan and a secondary "add-on" loan along with it. These "add-on" loans are typically smaller than the borrower's primary loan and serve a different purpose. Because Field Partners can now post loans as successive and concurrent loans, you will be able to track borrower progress over time and see the various ways a borrower is working with our Field Partners through funds from Kiva’s lenders.
