Zawadi
Zawadi is the married mother of four children, all of whom attend school. She lives in a rental house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.

Zawadi operates a charcoal selling business, selling from home to her village. In addition she sells fish to supplement her income. She faces a major challenge of seasonality in her business. She dreams of expanding to increase her monthly income.

With the loan of KES 30,000, she wants to purchase 25 sacks of charcoal for resale and pay for the transport. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to improve her living standard.
