The Djiguisseme Group is made up of married women with an average age of 52 and and an average of seven children each. They all live within the frameworks of traditional families in the town of Fana, in Fana Coura District, in the commune of Gyégnéka, Dioïla Prefecture, Koulikoro Region (the second administrative region of the Republic of Mali). They all know each other through the bonds of family, community and friendship. They earn a living in the buying and selling of cereals, condiments and fish.

This will be the eighteenth loan for the women of the Djiguisseme Group. In order to satisfy the enormous demand from their customers, they have turned to Soro Yiriwaso. The requested loan amount will be used to purchase the aforementioned items.

Dally, the first woman on the left, did not receive an education. She currently works as a cereal vendor. She plans on buying eight sacks of millet from her suppliers in Beleco. She sells her produce for cash in Fana to a mixed customer base. She sees herself making an average monthly profit of 80,000 FCFA, which will be reinvested into her business.

Le groupe DJIGUISSEME est composé de femmes mariées elles ont en moyenne 52 ans et 7 enfants. Elles vivent tous dans des familles traditionnelles dans la ville de Fana, quartier Fana Coura, commune de Guégnéka, préfecture de Dioïla, Région de Koulikoro, (deuxième région administrative de la république du Mali).
Elles se sont connues à travers des liens de parenté, de voisinage et d’amitié. Elles font le commerce de céréales, de condiments, de l’habillement et de poisson.
Les femmes du groupe DJIGUISSEME sont à leur dix-huitième prêt solidaire.
Dans le but de satisfaire la demande énorme de leurs clientèles, elles font recours à SORO YIRIWASO.
La cliente DALLY , première personne à partir de la gauche est une vendeuse de céréales. Elle compte achète 8 sacs de mil chez ses fournisseurs à Beleco. La vente se fait en détail et en espèce à Fana à une clientèle mixte. Elle envisage réaliser un bénéfice moyen mensuel de 80.000 FCFA qui sera réinvesti dans son activité.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients. Kiva lenders’ funds will enable Soro Yiriwaso to expand its outreach and target even more underserved Malians involved in business and agriculture.
