Kulusum is married and has seven children who attend school. She has a business of selling green bananas, which she has been doing for three years. She sells on a retail basis five days a week. Her major business challenges include seasonality and thieves.
Kulusum requested a loan from MCDT SACCO for 900,000 Uganda shillings, which she will use to buy more bunches of green bananas. She hopes to becoming a wholesaler and to educate her children up to university. She resides in the family house with access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees and feeding the family.
