Nang is a 62-year-old married woman. Currently she is residing in the Samrong Torng district of Kampong Speu province. Nang has been farming for a long time. She is also the mother of a ten-year-old son. As a hard-working mother, she is able to afford to put her son in the village school. Her primary income source is farming, generating an average daily amount of 28,100 KHR. Nang has been a borrower of Kiva’s partner VisionFund for sixth cycles and she has successfully repaid her past loans. In this seventh cycle, Nang is seeking a microloan of 2,000,000 KHR in order to buy fertilizers for her cash-crop. She strongly believes that this loan will enable her to improve her family's lifestyle and allow her to continue to keep her child in school.
