Sokien lives in Kulen district of Preah Vihea province. She is now 24 years old, married and has a daughter. Her daughter is in the school. She and her husband depend on the paddy rice farm to cover their family's living expense. They earn 40,900 KHR in average per day.
Sokien has completed 6 loans with VisionFund already. She saw a very good impact from the previous loans on her family and is now requesting her 7th loan from VisionFund. This loan will help her to pay for labor fees. She expects that the income will help her expand her business as well as improving her family's living especially to cover family's food, health care and her child's education.
