Living in a wooden house located in the Ro Veang district of Preah Vihea province, Sakhorn is 60 years old and married. She has one child, who is dependent, and now he is in school. In order to support the family, she and her husband have been earning a living by farming rice and cassava for 30 years. Her husband is also a teacher. With these current businesses, she and her husband can earn 25,000 riels per day.
This is the fifth micro loan for Sakhorn with VisionFund. She successfully used her previous loans to better support her family and expand her family’s business. Now she is applying for another loan. She wants to use her loan to buy fertilizer for her farmland. She hopes to earn more income from her current business.
