Saroeun is aged 47 and married with one child who is in school. She lives in a rural village of Preah Vihear province’s Ro Veang district. She and her husband earn a living through farming rice which they have been doing for 7 years. And sometimes, her husband also finds a part-time job as a worker for two years and both business can make them earn 17,000 KHR per day.
Saroeun has been with VisionFund for one cycle. She successfully used the previous loan to better support her family and increase her family’s business. Now she is applying for another loan. She wants to use her loan to buy fertilizer for her farmland. She hopes to grow her rice successfully and increase her current business to better her family’s living condition and keep her child in school.
