The loan that they will take out will benefit small microbusiness owners like Maxima. She states that she joined Pro Mujer thirty-five years ago at the invitation of a friend who is a member of the institution. Currently, she has a business selling sweets and drinks. She explains that she started this business after seeing a friend who sold these products and obtaining capital from Pro Mujer to establish her own independent business.

The loan she will take out now is to increase her capital for the purchase of sugar at wholesale; she will acquire it at street markets in the city of El Alto and after preparing it, she will sell it in her sales location. This way of working allows her to generate resources to support her family, as she is a widow and has seven children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she responds that she likes the savings and the institution's heath-related offerings.
