Vardanush is 31 years old and lives in the village Gargar in Lori region. She has no higher education. Since a very young age, she has been engaged in farming. Since getting married she has become even more serious about it. She has two school-aged children. Her husband is currently in the Russian Federation for work. He transfers money for his family from there every two months.

Most of the care of the children and also the farm and hardships connected with it are Vardanush's responsibility. Her farm is not very rich with cattle. She has a cow, a heifer and a calf, so she manages to sell very little milk with a miserable income. On her plot of land she cultivates potatoes. Most of the income she gets is from selling to re-sellers. Vardanush says that no matter how long and how hard she works in her farm, many of the needs of her children and her farm are unmet.

Vardanush wants to sell more farm products with greater income, so she asks for this loan in order to buy bulls and also fertilizer for her agricultural activities.
