Mrs. Domitila is 64 years old, a widow, and the mother of 7 children, all of whom are now adults. She only studied until the third graD.. Doña Domitila tiene 64 años D. edad, es viuda y madre D. siete hijos, todos mayores D. edad. Sólo estudió hasta el tercer año D. primaria, vive en el Jr. 3 D. Mayo Nº 235, distrito D. Ilave, provincia D. El Collao, Puno, y es una D. las socias fundadoras del Banco Comunal “San Miguel” en Ilave.

Con el primer préstamo D. S/.300, incrementó su capital para comprar cereales, chuño, papa, quinua, etc. Manifiesta que no estudió porque sus padres decían que las mujeres no podían estudiar, que debían dedicarse a las labores D. la casa. A los 20 años D. edad tuvo familia y continúo con su negocio D. cereales, los cuales vendía en la Feria D. Ilave. Su esposo falleció y la dejó sola a cargo D. sus hijos por lo que continúo vendiendo sus productos y se propuso sacarlos adelante.

Con este préstamo D. S/. 3,000, el cual será cancelado en 6 cuotas, comprará más cereales como 5 quintales D. papa, 5 arrobas D. chuño, quinua, etc.

Su sueño es que sus hijos tengan un futuro mejor y sean buenos profesionales.
