Janet is a single woman with one child who goes to school. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.
For the past seven years, she has operated a clothes-selling business, selling clothes and materials for men, women, and children. She cites stiff competition as her major challenge in the business.
Janet is requesting a loan to purchase bales of clothes for resale. She dreams of expanding to a wholesale shop in the near future.
