Nadia is 30 years old and works from home as a tailor. She has been in this line of work for 2 years now and is proud to be contributing to her household income. When Nadia was not earning income, her family went through severe financial crisis that compelled her to use her stitching skills in a productive manner. Her husband was the sole bread winner of the family. She felt obligated to change her family’s living standards and started working from home. She has since attracted a good number of customers.

To help her continue operating her business, she requested a loan of 40,000 PKR to buy a stock of different colored thread and packs of zippers and buttons to meet her increasing demand. In addition to repaying the loan, she will use part of the revenues to cover personal expenses.
