María has a store in her home located in the Carmen Alto district where she sells groceries, vegetables and fruit - work she does with the help of her children. In addition to that, on Thursdays she travels to the market in Putaja where she purchases young animals and later sells them at home, door to door and sometimes in the markets. Also, on Sundays she sells food in the cattle market near her home.

María needs a loan for 1,000 soles, money that will be invested in the purchase of sugar, rice, noodles and cooking oil. Her dreams are to improve her business and that her children study.
