The Yeredèmè group is made up solely of polygamous wives. They average 35 years of age with two children each and all live in Badialan III, one of Bamako's districts. They got to know each other as neighbors. The group members have small businesses selling cosmetics, cereals, vegetables and clothes. With a view to increasing their businesses, they decided to collaborate with Soro Yiriwaso and are on their second group loan.

Coumba, who is sitting on the far right of the photo, has a great reputation for selling cosmetics. She is planning to use her loan to buy five cartons of creams and three cartons of perfumes. She resells her products on a retail basis in Badialan III to a mixed customer base. With this loan Coumba expects to make an average monthly profit of 90,000FCFA which will be used to reinvest in her business. Her ambition is, through this relationship with Soro Yiriwaso, to buy a plot of land for habitation purposes.

Le groupe Yeredèmè est uniquement composé de femmes polygames. Elles ont en moyenne 35 ans et 2 enfants. Elles habitent toutes à Badialan III l’un des quartiers de Bamako et se sont connues à travers des liens de voisinage. Les membres du groupe font le petit commerce de, produits cosmétiques, des céréales, des légumes et des habits. Dans le but d’augmenter leurs fonds de commerce, les membres du groupe ont décidé de collaborer avec Soro Yiriwaso et sont à leur 2ème cycle de prêt solidaire.
Madame Coumba (femme assise à l’extrême droite sur la photo) a une grande réputation dans la vente des produits cosmétiques. Elle compte utiliser son prêt pour acheter 5 cartons de pommades et 3 cartons parfums à Bamako en gros. La revente se fait en détails au Badialan III à une clientèle mixte. Madame Coumba espère réaliser avec ce prêt un bénéfice mensuel moyen de 90 000 FCFA qui sera utilisé, pour être réinvesti dans l’activité. Elle a pour objectif d’acheter un lot à usage d’habitation dans cette relation avec Soro Yiriwaso.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients. Kiva lenders’ funds will enable Soro Yiriwaso to expand its outreach and target even more underserved Malians involved in business and agriculture.
