Hanan is the 42-year-old married mother of five children. After working for six years as a sales agent, she decided to start her own home-based business. In the beginning, she faced a major challenge in gaining visibility among potential customers. However, with determination and long experience in the field, Hanan was able to overcome this difficulty. Currently, she sells Brazilian gold accessories from home and has a wide client base.

With the money she makes, Hanan is able to help her husband, who is employed as a driver in a factory, to cover their household expenses. They are both devoted to improving their family’s living situation and providing their five children with good education. Today, she is requesting a loan from Kiva partner Al Majmoua to buy new accessories, thus increasing her sales, enhancing her revenues and eventually expanding her business.

In the future, Hanan seeks to enlarge her client outreach by establishing a small store.
